ABARO’s long-term CSR initiative, “Shoes For You. Hopes For Them,” began in 2016, aiming to ensure that no child goes to school without proper, comfortable shoes. Recently, ABARO donated 152 pairs of school shoes and socks to B40 students at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Gurney (2) for World Children’s Day, contributing to the total of 200,000 shoes donated since the campaign began.

Kevin Soh, COO of ABARO, emphasized the importance of education and how having a proper pair of shoes is a fundamental need for every child. ABARO’s efforts aim to help disadvantaged students feel more confident as they begin the new academic year. The Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) also expressed gratitude, noting that many students only have one pair of shoes that wear out quickly, and this donation provides essential relief.

ABARO’s “Back to School” campaign runs from December 17, 2023, to March 17, 2024. For every pair of ABARO school shoes purchased, RM1 will be donated to help underprivileged children with shoes and school supplies.
